Unexpected weather couldn’t stop this Kananaskis elopement in the Canadian Rockies! These two hiked up a ridge for their first look, then had their wedding ceremony later in a forest.

The weekend before Jeremy and Nicole’s Kananaskis elopement we were supposed to go on a backpacking trip in Glacier National Park for some landscape photography. but with a nasty thunderstorm system rolling through we decided to to postpone.

The unexpected weather reminded me a lot of Nicole and Jeremy’s Kananaskis elopement a week later, where in the midst of a heat wave and clear forecasts we were all surprised to be caught in rain squalls at the summit! Despite the cold winds and rain, these two were full of smiles in awe of the peaks and views that surrounded us for their elopement day.
