You never know what the weather will have in store for your Kananaskis hiking elopement, but you can always figure out a Plan B! Kat and Kyle had originally planned for a sunset hiking elopement, but with an incoming storm forecasted that afternoon we pivoted to the morning.⁠

Everyone met bright and early at the trailhead to start Kyle and Kat’s hiking elopement in Kananaskis. Mountaintop Ceremony

As Kyle and Katherine read their vows to one another during their mountaintop ceremony delivered by the amazing hiking officiant Cole Hofstra, the sun broke through the squall literally moments after Kyle said they could weather any storm.⁠

Kyle and Kat joked about it afterwards, but it really did seem like perfect timing.⁠

Perfect Timing

That’s the thing about this moment we find ourselves in. Like many others, Katherine and Kyle were supposed to have a big wedding, but with coronavirus uncertainty the timing wasn’t right.⁠

So they pivoted. With all the curveballs life threw at them, Kat and Kyle were still able to elope on the original day of their wedding, on a trail that they love in the rocky mountains they call home.⁠
And if you ask us.. well that’s what we call perfect timing.
