When we first chatted with Hailey and TR, we learned that they were planning an epic road trip to celebrate their elopement. They always knew they wanted to elope, and the glacial blue waters of Banff National Park made Canada an easy choice. They would start their trip in Arkansas, bag a half marathon along the way, elope in Banff National Park, then snake their way back through Montana and Glacier National Park and finish with a big celebration with friends once home. Talk about epic adventurous elopement ideas!

Moraine Lake First Look

They kept their elopement location plans secret from family and friends. Once they got home and celebrated with a big party, they’d reveal the place! Moraine Lake was the perfect blue water backdrop Hailey and TR envisioned for their elopement in Banff National Park. At sunrise, they had their first look at the Moraine Lake viewpoint. Although the smoke was thick, these two were stoked on the epic blue waters that lived up to the hype! A sweet ceremony officiated by Jodi Hartung of Young, Hip, & Married along the shoreline and a couple celebratory beers later and they were hitched! We love being both witnesses AND adventure elopement photographers in Banff at the same time 😉

Adventure Elopement Photography SUP

Hailey and TR love getting out on the water at home in Arkansas, so it was only fitting to finish off their elopement in Banff with a celebratory SUP! One of our favourite things being elopement photographers in Banff is seeing all the awesome adventures couple incorporate into their big day. An adventurous elopement is 100% completely up to you! No hard rules, no one to cater to, just simply you and your significant other tying the knot in the best way you see fit. These two finished their morning elopement with smiles on their faces, toes in the water, and SUPs in tow. A perfect end to a perfect day in Banff National Park.
