This Banff pre wedding photography at Moraine Lake was a stunning way to celebrate their engagement photos! Gigi and Oki came from Minnesota to Banff National Park in Canada for their pre-wedding photoshoot in the Canadian Rockies.

Gigi and Oki knew they wanted their Banff pre wedding photography to be at Moraine Lake. Moraine Lake is famous around the world for its pristine turquoise waters and ten mountain peaks. They travelled all the way from the USA to make it happen, and we were so honoured to be their adventure photographers in Banff!

A Perfect Moraine Lake Sunrise

We met them at Moraine Lake early before sunrise for their pre wedding photoshoot. The forecast was calling for clear blue skies, and there was not a cloud in the sky blocking the mountain views! When we started their pre wedding photos at Moraine Lake, the sun rose and lit the ten peaks of Moraine Lake in a bright wash of pink alpenglow. The water was peaceful and still, making a perfect reflection in the bright blue lake.

Gigi wore an elegant silk Jenny Yoo wedding dress for their Banff pre wedding photography, and matched it with a ribbon-tied cream and pastel pink ribbon-tied bouquet made by Amborella Floral in Calgary.

Lake Louise Pre Wedding Photos

After an unforgettable sunrise at Moraine Lake, we finished their Banff pre wedding photography at Lake Louise. The sun was fully up now, shining through the forest and making their pre-wedding shoot look like something out of a fairytale!

These two were so happy and full of life. They couldn’t stop laughing and giggling throughout their adventure session and we had so much fun capturing their love story! Moraine Lake is the perfect mountain location for a pre wedding photography shoot in Banff.
