Whenever I get to second shoot for Todd Kwiczak of Tkshotz Wedding and Newborn Photography, I know I’m going to be photographing an awesome couple. Taylor & Kevin were no exception.
The groom was getting ready at his parents’ house, which featured bright windows and wooden accents throughout the house that made a perfect backdrop for Kevin’s portrait. The boys played a quick game of pool before heading off to the ceremony, and Kevin won (the groomsmen say they let him win on his wedding day ;)).

The venue and ceremony were held at Valley Ridge Golf Club, and Taylor took the entire room’s breath away when she entered. She’s a stunner! The ceremony opened with a story of Taylor and Kevin’s love, which shed more than a few share of tears around the room, and closed with a rose water ceremony and of course, “I do!”
For couples photos, we took advantage of the lush green grass of the golf course and its gardens, and wandered to a forested grove to take advantage of the foliage. Kevin and Taylor were so easy going throughout the day, even when they turned around between photos and their friends iced them!
As the night went on, stories were shared of lifelong friendships and a drunken night or two. The night finished off with dancing, laughing, and Kevin’s parents getting the entire reception to sign a rendition of Bon Jovi’s “Halfway There”. Main chorus line? “Woahhh, Kevin has no hair!” Now if that isn’t loving parents, I don’t know what is! Its days like this that make us love this job.
