The Crossing at Ghost River wedding photography | BHLDN bridal capes and winter wedding inspiration | Intimate weddings with family | Calgary, Alberta
Winter is a perfect time to get married at The Crossing at Ghost River wedding venue because the forest looks like a wonderland and you get golden light for your photos!
A Winter Wedding Straight Out of Fairytale
Brynne and Graham’s intimate Crossing at Ghost River wedding photography was truly something out of a Disney fairytale! The hills were white with fresh snow, the greenery was vibrant, and most importantly the fire was warm. Not to mention Brynne’s magical bridal cape from BHLDN looked straight out of Elsa’s closet.
Planning the Perfect Crossing at Ghost River Wedding
This Crossing at Ghost River wedding was perfect because Brynne and Graham planned to incorporate important moments that they wanted in their intimate wedding day. They spent time with each and every loved one by keeping the guest list small, they exchanged personal vows to one another during their ceremony, and they shared not one but two first dances (practice makes perfect 😉).

Why You Should Do Engagement Photos Before a Wedding Day
We knew this Crossing at Ghost River wedding photography was going to be good because we had hiked with Brynne and Graham before for their engagement photos. Doing an adventure session before your wedding day gives you a feel for what it’s like to shoot with us (hint: it’s a lot of laughs and a little workout 😜). Plus, you get the best of both worlds… epic adventure photos and still having time to spend with loved ones on your wedding day!
Bringing Together this Crossing at Ghost River Wedding Photography
Like every wedding and elopement this day came to life because of teamwork. From all the amazing vendors (big shoutout to Amborella Floral, whose arch and hanging pieces blew us away!) to Brynne and Graham’s family and friends who helped set up their winter wonderland (and string the wire for said hanging pieces!), this day truly was a culmination of the love that surrounds these two.
Brynne and Graham danced the night away with their closest friends and family at The Crossing at Ghost River. The lodge kept them cozy and warm as they celebrated their adventure of a lifetime for this special winter wedding.
