Golden Wedding Photography at a Mountain Getaway
Where you get married is a significant part of your day, especially when it comes to intimate weddings and elopements. As Liz and Harpreet started planning their wedding in British Columbia, they knew exactly where they wanted to get married. Liz’s parents had purchased this piece of property in Golden, BC as a family mountain getaway and built a cozy home on it to share together. The property is large and filled with forest outcroppings and meadows; a perfect location for Golden wedding photography!
Liz and Harpreet both felt this land would be an important part of their lives for years to come, so it was an obvious choice for their wedding day. You can even host your own spring or fall wedding here through their AirBnB listing!

Rustic Wedding Reception
After the ceremony in a forest grove, Harpreet and Liz commemorated their marriage by planting a tree that will grow and strengthen as they grow old together. For dinner, everyone pitched in to help and made delicious daal, roasted squash, and even shortbread from grandma alongside homemade catering from their neighbours nearby. The wooden barn was transformed into a magical rustic wedding venue near Golden.
On their wedding day, Liz and Harpreet put down roots not only in each other but the place they loved so dearly, too.
