Eagle Ranch is an amazing venue for Invermere wedding photographers and couples. Bright, natural light combined with rustic wooden beams and mountain views of the Kootenays to boot!
Invermere Wedding Venues in March
Spring arrives late in Invermere, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a wedding when there’s still snow on the ground! March weddings in Invermere are perfect because you get the beauty of snowy mountains without the cold temperatures the Canadian Rockies are so well known for. When Carly and Curtis reached out to us as Invermere wedding photographers we were excited to learn they were getting married at one of our favourite venues! Plus, they wanted to go to Panorama Ski Resort for wedding photos too!
Getting Ready at Copper Point Resort
The morning of their wedding Carly and Curtis got ready separately at the Copper Point Resort. Copper Point is only a 5-minute drive to their wedding venue at Eagle Ranch so it was perfect for getting ready. Sometimes the morning of the wedding can run behind, so Invermere wedding photographers always recommend planning a little buffer time before the ceremony to ensure you arrive on time.

Excitement filled the air as their friends and family shimmied around that morning putting all the final details in place. Officiated by Michele Neider, their ceremony was sweet and sincere as the early afternoon sun illuminated the room. Afterwards, we all headed outside for bridal party photos. Carly and Curtis chose their two brothers as their bridal party, and they were so energetic and fun to photograph!
Invermere Wedding Photographers at Panorama Ski Resort
We headed up to Panorama Ski Resort for wedding photos with Carly and Curtis afterwards. We hopped on the chairlift and rose above the mountains. Panorama Ski Resort is a great spot for Invermere wedding photographers because you get high mountain views without the hike! Sometimes wedding days don’t have much time to hike, so ski resorts for weddings are a good alternative.
The sun set and we headed back to Eagle Ranch, where these two warmed up and celebrated the night away with friends and family. We’ve seen a lot of speeches as Invermere wedding photographers, but Carly’s brother was truly sincere and full of laughter in his toast to the bride. It was an amazing night cozied in the warmth of the lodge. Carly and Curtis, it was an honour to capture your mountain wedding in Invermere!

Thanks! We hadn’t shot at Panorama Ski Resort before so it was fun to explore a new place.
These are absolutely stunning! I love the depth of shadows in your images. They are all fantastic, but I’m in love with your ability to capture accurate color and light in the indoor images you posted of getting ready! Beautiful work 🙂
Thanks so much! Luckily Copper Point has neutral-toned rooms so getting ready is a little easy to capture hehe 😉
I love this Eagle Ranch wedding so much! You are clearly such a talented Invermere wedding photographer and I love all the epic moments, landscapes, and beauty you captured here! Stunning!
Thanks Katy! Invermere is such a unique place to shoot compared to places like Banff too because it’s a little off the beaten tourist path.
