Being at home for a Kamloops engagement photography session in Lac du Bois Grasslands Provincial Park was the best; especially when Alberta is having a prolonged winter and –20° C weather!
We always tell couples not to worry about what the weather does for your wedding photography or engagement session, and this was the perfect example that overcast skies can be beautiful too! For this adventure session, we went to Lac du Bois Grasslands just on the outskirts of Kamloops, BC. This provincial park is where Jared proposed to Lisa and where they spend most of their free time camping, hiking, and zipping around on their Razor, so it was only fitting to have the adventure session here.
We love when couples bring their dogs along for their engagement photos, and this was no exception! Having a high-energy border collie ourselves, we know how to work with dogs in adventure sessions, and always recommend bringing pups along for the fun. They are part of the family, after all 😉
