Chris and Sarah are from North Carolina, and for their anniversary trip they decided to visit Banff National Park. This was a big milestone year for their relationship, and they wanted to celebrate with vow renewal photography in Banff. They had their vow renewal hidden away in a sunlit forest grove as their little daughter watched on.

How Do Vow Renewals Work?
What happens during a vow renewal? Anything you want, really! Chris and Sarah exchanged new vows to one another, and the officiant ceremonially washed their wedding bands as a symbol of renewal. The officiant then stored the water in a little tinker and kept it safe with their celebratory wine box.

After their forest ceremony, we headed to Peyto Lake in Banff National Park for a family-friendly hike to the scenic viewpoint. The sun was shining over the valley and the weather couldn’t have been better! We had so much fun with these two and their baby girl, swapping stories and snapping photos in between. It was the perfect way to cap off their vow renewal photography in Banff.
